Abraham Ladesma

Abraham "Abe" Ladesma, 82, of Beeville, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015. Mr. Ladesma was born March 24, 1932, in San Juan, Bato, Sur Philippines to Beatriz (Postres) and Simeon Ladesma. He married Lydia Buena in the Philippines on May 5, 1963, and was the owner and operator of Abe's Air Conditioning Service. He was retired from the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Simeon and Beatriz Ladesma; and two sisters, Juana and Solidad Ladesma. Survivors include his wife, Lydia Ladesma of Beeville; a daughter, Rosemarie Ladesma of Austin; and two brothers, Mariano (Christina) Ledesma of New Jersey and Wilberto (Josephine) Ladesma of the Philippines. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 10:30. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 o'clock that afternoon at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Reverend Richard Gonzales officiating. Services will conclude at the church. Pallbearers will be Paul Lareaux, Cosme Gonzales, Richard Segovia, Lt. David Buena Barandon, Karlo Francia, Ricardo Alba and Edwin Bolalin. Galloway & Sons Funeral Home
