Albert James Zdansky, 66, of Tynan, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017. Mr. Zdansky was born Oct. 29, 1950, in Corpus Christi to Lillie Emilie Veselka and Steve John Zdansky Sr. He worked for CACOST (Community Action Corporation of South Texas) and was a Christian, active in his church and enjoyed sports and going to Saturday matinee movies. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, James Zdansky, Steve Zdansky Jr. and Harry Zdansky; and three sisters, Annie Wallek, Margaret Mask and Lorraine Britz. Survivors include a sister, Lillian Dieringer (Olen Suggs) of Corpus Christi; three brothers, Charles (Ellen) Zdansky of Corpus Christi, Edward (Theresa) Zdansky of League City and Joe Cavazos of Tynan; two sisters-in-law, Judy Zdansky and Wilma Zdansky; three brothers-in-law, Larry Britz, Joe Mask and Larry Wallek; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Thursday, Feb. 23, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. The funeral service followed there at 11 o’clock. Burial was held at 1:30 p.m. at Seaside Memorial Park in Corpus Christi. Pallbearers were Harry Zdansky Jr., Joe Cavazos, Edward Zdansky, Ronnie Hall, Jacob Cavazos and Larry Britz.
