Alice A. (Qualls) Bohac, 78, of Skidmore, died Friday, May 13, 2011. Mrs. Bohac was born June 25, 1932, in Atascosa County to Grace (Rutledge) and Charlie Qualls. She married Joe Bohac in Beeville on July 4, 1951 and was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Skidmore. She participated in all of her church's activities. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gary Lynn Bohac; a sister, Bertha Kase; and a brother, Arvin Qualls. Survivors include her husband, Joe Bohac of Skidmore; two sons, Jimmy (Kay) Bohac of Lockhart and Larry (Melissa) Bohac of Skidmore; two sisters, Diane Albach of Seguin and Debbie Sanchez of San Antonio; two brothers, Chuck (Kay) Qualls and Leon Qualls, both of San Antonio; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Galloway & Sons chapel. The funeral service was conducted there Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock with Pastor Jason Calvert officiating. Musical selections included "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In the Garden." Burial followed in Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Jeremy Bohac, Josh Bohac, Joey Alvarez, Janus Bohac, Josh Childress and James Cunningham. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Smith, Jim Maxey and Richard Barnhart.
