Anna (Hatch) Hartman, 90, of San Antonio, formerly of Beeville, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016. Mrs. Hartman was born Jan. 18, 1926, in Beeville to Emmaline Williams and James Marion Hatch. She married Bryce Oberley Hartman in Beeville on May 21, 1945, and was a Methodist and assistant secretary for North East Independent School District Community Education. She was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas Alamo Mission Chapter, San Antonio Conservation Society, United Methodist Women, PTA, Brooks Officers Wives Club, was chairman of the Alamo Community and served on several Alamo and Alamo Library committees. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, art, bowling and anything having to do with Great Britain. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three brothers, James, John and Jesse. Survivors include four children, Bart Hartman (Kathi Turner) of Austin, Robin (Ben) Lock of Lubbock, Bruce Hartman (Alex Cuervo) of Houston and Allen (Karen) Hartman of San Antonio; four grandchildren, Jamie Hartman, Kate Bibb, Jennifer Garrett and Alison Schwartz; and five great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 20, at Glenwood Cemetery.
