Anthony Wicke

Anthony "Tony" Wicke, 33, of Beeville, died Sunday, March 17, 2013. Mr. Wicke was born Feb. 19, 1980, in Cairo, Egypt, to James William and Evelyn Louise Largent Wicke. He graduated from A.C. Jones High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He was owner and operator of Anthony's BBQ and Catering Services and was a member of First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed cooking for people and would occasionally cook for First Baptist Church School where his children attended and also for other community events. He enjoyed playing and watching sports and collecting sports memorabilia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sid and Edith Hatton and Evelyn Lewis. Survivors include his children, Isaiah Wicke, Mia Wicke, Jediah Wicke and Nehemiah "Nemo" Wicke, all of Beeville; his parents, James and Evelyn Wicke of Beeville; a brother, Pastor J.J. (Amy) Wicke of Falfurrias; and numerous other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 25, at First United Methodist Church with Rev.
