Arthur Silber, Jr.

Arthur "Bud" Silber Jr., 80, of Vine Grove, Kentucky, passed away at the Carl M. Brashear Radcliff Veterans Center on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. He was 80.


Bud was born July 2, 1938. He was retired from the United States Air Force with 20 years of service and having served in the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Silber.

Survivors include a son, John Silber (Trisha) of Vine Grove, Kentucky; a daughter, Marianne Rafferty (Ian) of Los Angeles, California; four grandchildren, Christopher Silber, Randy Silber, Devin Rafferty and Jack Rafferty; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Arlice Watson; and a host of friends.

Visitation was held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2019, at the Chism Family Funeral Home in Vine Grove, Kentucky.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Gussettville Cemetery in George West with Rev. Patrick K. Donohoe officiating.
