Arturo Valdez

Arturo "Tony" Valdez, 58, of Corpus Christi, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018.
Mr. Valdez was born Aug. 21, 1960, in Alice to Rosario Mario and Mary Alice (Sustaita) Valdez. He served in the U.S. Navy and was employed as contractor with Naval Air Station Corpus Christi.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice Valdez.
Survivors include his father, Mario Valdez of Beeville; two brothers, Rick (Lisa) Valdez of San Antonio and Marc (Sandra) Valdez of Beeville; a sister, Anna Valdez of Beeville; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 30, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. A rosary will be recited there at 7 o'clock that evening.
The funeral service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Richard Gonzales officiating. Burial will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be the United Veterans Burial Association of Alice and the Bee County Honor Guard.
