Augusta Ada Humble, 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 25, 2011. She was born April 6, 1930, in Corpus Christi, Texas to John S. and Mollie Mosser. She was a graduate of Corpus Christi High School. Augusta married Dan K. Humble on May 30, 1947. A few years later, they moved to Beeville, Texas, where they owned and operated the Giantburger Drive-In Restaurant for more than 55 years. Augusta loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Beeville, Texas, for 55 years. Due to health reasons, she recently moved to Corpus Christi and became a member of Covenant Baptist Church. Augusta was preceded in death by her parents, John S. and Mollie Mosser; by her husband of 62 years, Dan K. Humble; two brothers, Johnny P. and Bruce Mosser. She is survived by one brother, Edward E. Mosser of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Margery Martin of Florida, Janice Darlene Miller of Corpus Christi, Texas; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Galloway & Sons Chapel, Beeville, Texas, at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2011, with Reverend Greg Traylor officiating. Interment followed at Beeville Memorial Park.
