Barbara Hester

Barbara E. (Howell) Hester, 53, of Beeville, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Mrs. Hester was born Jan. 26, 1962, in Clovis, New Mexico, to LeNora Verlene Banta and Homer Everett Howell. She married Bobby Hester in Beeville on May 17, 2014, and was a retired LVN. She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling, playing pool and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Daryl Howell. Survivors include her husband, Bobby Hester of Beeville; three children, Kristy Howell, Sean Howell and Dusty Howell; two sisters, Linda Buchanan and Brenda (Johnny) Clayton; a brother, James E. Howell; six grandchildren, Michael, Gabriel, Klowie, Dasia, Sage and Jayden; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Glenwood Cemetery with a graveside service following at 3 o'clock. Pallbearers will be Sean Howell, Lincoln Clark, James Howell, Tommy Downs, Nathan Honaker and Bobby Hester.
