Barbara Noblett

Barbara Jo (Pressley) Noblett, 71, of Swinney Switch, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017.

Mrs. Noblett was born September 30, 1945, in Corpus Christi to Margaret Lavinia Hooper and Joseph Cuyler Pressley. She married William Brady Noblett, Jr. in Corpus Christi on January 31, 1969, and was a retired data entry clerk for the Nueces County Courthouse. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Friends of the Swinney Switch Volunteer Fire Department and Heart to Heart.

She was preceded in death her parents; her husband; and a brother, Johnny Calvin Pressley.

Survivors include a sister, Catherine Wyble (David) of Swinney Switch; four children, William “Billy” Brady (Amy) Noblett III of Ephraim, Utah, Jason Cuyler (Isabelle) Noblett of Cuero, Jimmy Lee (Charlotte) Noblett of Yorktown and Benjamin Joseph Noblett of George West; 14 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel.

The funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 24, at 10 a.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Brother Lewis Howard officiating. Burial will follow at George West Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Cameron Brown, Clint Brown, Justin Wyble, David Wyble, Rito Zertuche and Jamey Wyble.
