Betty Lasater

Betty Jo Lasater, 75, passed away June 5, 2014. She was born on July 28, 1938 in Poteet, TX to George Norman and Velma Irene (Hughes) Williamson. She married T.C. Lasater, Jr. on December 16, 1955 in Poteet. She was a baptist and she loved animals and wildlife. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Gordon Williamson. She is survived by her children, Joy (Gary) Cartwright of Lake City, TX, Gay (Sid) Burkett of Dickinson, TX, T.C. (Cathy) Lasater, III of Kingsville, TX, and Roger (Dolly) Lasater of Royse City, TX; sisters, Robbie Robertson of Poteet, TX, Mary (Jack) Bolton of Prineville, Oregon, and Glenda (Fernando) Garcia of Poteet, TX; brothers, Ray (Emily) Williamson and Jim (Edna) Williamson all of San Antonio, TX, and Ray Williamson of Poteet, TX; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Galloway & Sons Chapel in Three Rivers, TX. Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Galloway & Sons Chapel with Rev. Thomas Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Three Rivers Cemetery.
