Beverly Hoaglin

Beverly Ann (Schwierzke) Hoaglin, 67, of Beeville died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012. Mrs. Hoaglin was born Oct. 10, 1944, in Refugio to Hilmer and Maude (Kramer) Schwierzke. She married Donald Hoaglin on Feb. 25, 1960, in Beeeville and was a retired teacher for BISD. She was a volunteer for the Beeville Art Museum and the Beeville Vineyard and was a mentor for the Joe Barnhart Scholarship Program. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hilmer and Maude Schwierzke; and a daughter, Donna Ann Harris. Survivors include her husband, Donald Hoaglin of Beeville; two sons, Craig (Beckie) Hoaglin of Helotes and Donald Roy (Rosalinda) Hoaglin of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Mikalah, Emma, Craig Allen and Victoria; two brothers, Hilmer Schwierzke Jr. of Corpus Christi and Johnny Schwierzke of San Antonio; two sisters, Jenny Raymond of Corpus Christi and Brenda Law (Bob Warner) of Portland; and a son-in-law, Randall Harris of Victoria. Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 o'clock Friday morning, Feb. 24, at Beeville Memorial Park with James Brewster officiating.
