Billy Finch, Sr.

Billy Royce Finch, 82, passed away on November 21, 2014. He was born on September 12, 1932 in Smiley, Texas to Dowling and Stella Beatrice (Hill) Finch. He married Jamie Boren on March 11, 1950 in Stockdale, Texas. He was a member of River Hills Baptist Church, a mason, and retired as a sales manager in the oilfield industry. He is survived by his daughters, Linda (Donald) Campo of Fulshear, Texas and Rita (Dan) Bowen of Houston, Texas; son, Bill (Cindy) Finch of Gonzales, Texas; 8 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Bradford (Jeanine) Finch of Seguin, Texas and Jerry Finch of Port Lavaca, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Jamie Orear Finch. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Beeville, Texas. Funeral service will follow there at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Glenwood Cemetery.
