Bobbie Green

Victoria, Texas Mrs. Bobbie Felty Green, wife of A.J. Jack Green, Jr. was called to her heavenly home November 13, 2012, at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Rev. Jack Green; sons, Glen Allen (Christy) Green and Forrest Douglas Green; daughter, Jeanene (Gordon) Green Atkinson; brothers, Howard and Mary Felty of Waco, Texas, Steve and Marcie Felty of San Antonio, Texas and Kenneth and Ruth Felty of Helotes, Texas; grandchildren, Micah and Cody Green of Nashville, Tennessee, Jessica Green of Dallas, Texas, Reiley Atkinson of San Marcos, Texas, Shelby Atkinson of San Antonio, Texas and Lillian Atkinson of San Antonio, Texas Bobbie was reared in Waco, Texas, the only daughter of Fred and Alma Felty. She attended Baylor University. She and Jack were married September 17, 1954. She was a faithful servant of Christ in the 21 years of Jack's pastorate and 25 years as President of South Texas Children's Home Ministries. She was a faithful member of Northside Baptist Church of Victoria. She was an active member of Decora Study Club. She received loving prayer support from all who knew her. The family gives thanks for the care given year by Hospice of South Texas and Errands Unlimited, especially Mary, an ideal caregiver. Funeral services will be conducted at Northside Baptist Church in Victoria, Texas at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2012 preceded by visitation with her family. Interment will follow at a private family service in Beeville, Texas. Pallbearers are past and present members of the Board of Trustees of South Texas Children's Home Ministries.
