Bonnie Ricketts

Bonnie Bess Ricketts, 91, passed away April 9, 2015. She was born July 13,1923, in Denver, Colorado to Robert I. and Laveta Viola (Bonnell) Heydon. She married Eugene H. Ricketts on June 20,1942, in Anaheim, California. She was a member of First Christian Church and active years back in the republican party. She is survived by her husband, Eugene H. Ricketts of Beeville; son, Eugene E. Ricketts and wife Theresa of Beeville; grandchildren, Coleen Walloch, Larry Pellett, Tonya Ricketts, and Joshua Ricketts; great-grandchildren, Nicole Lawrence, Danielle Lawrence, Markell Wauss, Brooke Pellett, and Jordan Pellett; and great-great-grandchildren, Jacob Wauss and Colin Wauss. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2015, at First Christian Church with Rev. Geraldine Huckman officiating. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jack Meyer, Rick Ricketts, Paul Gothard, Chris Arvantinos, Bob Lawson and Jack Friedlander. Those who wish may make donations to First Christian Church.
