Carmen Perez

Carmen Estella (Moreno) Perez, 68, passed away peacefully at her home in Three Rivers, Texas on July 19, 2022.

Carmen, a lifelong resident of Three Rivers, was born January 27, 1954 to Carlos Gilberto Moreno and Josefina (Ruiz) Moreno. She was a graduate of Three Rivers High School and on September 22, 1973, she married Louis Perez in Three Rivers. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church in George West. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She created countless treasured memories for many family members with her nurturing care and love throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Josefina Moreno; her husband, Louis Perez; and two brothers, Carlos G. Moreno Jr. and Jose Oscar Moreno.

Left behind to cherish fond memories of their mother include her children, Rebecca (Lance) Pullin, Louis (Chelsea) Perez and Christian (Sam) Castillo; her brother, Gilbert Moreno; and two sisters, Eva Saenz and Esther Davis. She was also blessed with grandchildren, Luke Pullin (Erynn Pullin), Brooke Pullin, Kaysen Perez, Austin Perez, Jackson Perez, Sophia Perez, Rochelle Castillo, Sian Castillo and Mya Castillo; and great-grandson, Layne Pullin.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Three Rivers with a Rosary to be recited at 7 o’clock that evening.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Romeo Salinas officiating.

Burial will follow in the Three Rivers Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gilbert Moreno, David Saenz Sr., Lance Pullin, Sam Castillo, David Saenz Jr. and Luke Pullin.
