Carol Louise (Glick) Bozant, 64, of Beeville, died Thursday, March 17, 2011. Mrs. Bozant was born Oct. 22, 1946, in Beeville to Mary (Manton) and Terry Glick. She attended Blinn College and Texas Women's University and married Burleigh I. Bozant in Beeville on June 1, 1969. She was a cake decorator for all occasions. She was a member of the Church of Christ and the Navy Wives Club; taught CCD in Goose Creek, S.C.; was a member of the Optimist Club, raising money for childhood cancer; hosted foreign exchange students from France and Poland; and traveled to Poland. She was a breast cancer survivor for 14 years and was a member of St. Peregrine Society. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Christopher Bozant. Survivors include a son, Robert A. (Shrisse) Bozant; a daughter, Bridgette L. (Andrew "Donk") Auzston; four grandchildren, Emilie and Caleb Bozant, Brittany and Beau Auzston; a brother, James D. Glick; and a sister, Christine Shockley. Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Galloway & Sons chapel. The funeral service was conducted there Wednesday at 2 o'clock with Robert Moore officiating. Musical selections by singers Charlotte Smith and Beverly Moore included "Where the Bluebonnets Bloom," "Amazing Grace," "It Is Well With My Soul" and "Be Not Afraid." Burial followed in Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers were David Todd, Nathan Post, Fred Davis, Toby Koetter, Bobby Puckett and Brady Jones.
