Carolyn Pryor

Carolyn Jean Pryor, 77, went home to her Lord on April 16, 2016. She was born on June 15, 1938 to Eugene George and Cora Mae (Sprott) Rosebrock in Alice, Texas. She graduated from A.C. Jones High School and Sam Houston State University. She married Louie Pryor on September 16, 1958 in Three Rivers, Texas. She was a member of Pettus United Methodist Church and was an educator. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Louie Pryor; daughter, Tracie Pryor; son, Eugene Pryor and wife Diana; grandchildren, Ardelia Lee, Jonathan Wright, Sydney Martini, and Austin Pryor; great grandchildren, Ellowyn, Kira and Delilah; and sister, Gayle Reynolds and husband Rex of Galveston. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Beeville, Texas. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Austin Pryor, Jonathan Wright, Mike Reynolds, and Tom Porter, Greg Pryor and Ed Monson. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Proffitt, Larry Sellars and Jimmy Fox.
