Cecilia Cabrera

Cecilia Rodriguez Cabrera, 88, went home to her Lord on May 16, 2016. Mrs. Cabrera was born on July 9, 1927 to Braulio and Celestina (Morin) Rodriguez in Bastrop, Texas to. She married Chano Cruz Cabrera on October 6, 1945. She was a Catholic and a housewife. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her children, Martin (Yolanda) Cabrera of Corpus Christi; Maria Elena Talbert of George West, Maria Elidia (Arturo) Garcia of Ben Bolt, Maria Elida (Modesto) Hinojosa of Robstown, Ricardo (Brenda) Cabrera of Fallon, Nevada and Raul (Amy) Cabrera of Freeport; 17 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West with a rosary recited there at 7 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at St. George Catholic Church in George West. Interment will follow in Oakville Cemetery.
