Charles Bradfute

Charles "C.O." Bradfute, 79, passed away on May 28, 2015. He was born on February 14, 1936 in Tynan, Texas to Bascom Odis Bradfute and Annie Ikonen Bradfute. In 2007, he married Rita Jean Davidson in George West, Texas. He was a member of Brush Country Cowboy Church and was a rancher and owner/operator of Bradfute Water Well Services. He is survived by his wife, Rita Jean Bradfute of Swinney Switch, Texas; 1 daughter, Melissa Barr of Fort Worth, Texas; 1 granddaughter, Megan Barr; and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by step children Larry Pettie, Charles Allen Pettie, Rene Guen, Jody Younts, Pam Osborne, Brenda Lawhorn, John Lambrecht, as well as several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Mr. Bradfute is further survived by 2 brothers, Malcom Bradfute of Jay, Oklahoma and Kenneth Bradfute of Pernitas Point, Texas and 2 sisters, Evelyn Ballou of Three Rivers, Texas and Carolyn Janice Wilson of George West, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Galloway and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Beeville, Texas. Services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Argenta Cemetery in Argenta, Texas.
