Charles Ford

Charles William Ford, 75, of Beeville, died Monday, March 24, 2014.

Mr. Ford was born July 28, 1938, in the Clareville Community to Julia (Sciba) and Joseph V. Ford Sr. He served in the U.S. Air Force and married Verma Lee Miller in Abilene on Nov. 14, 1959. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He worked for Reynolds Metal Company and Mobil Oil Company, and he enjoyed working on his small ranch with his cattle.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Verma Lee Ford of Beeville; sons Allen K. (Laura) Ford of Refugio and David S. (Renee) Ford of Brackettville; three grandchildren, Emily Ford, Ethan Ford and Aubrey Ford; and two brothers, James (Pat) Ford of Taft and Bob (Marie) Ford of Cologne.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, March 27, at 10 a.m. at Beeville Memorial Park with Rev. Larry McRorey officiating.
