Charles Langohr

Charles Harry Langohr Sr., 98, of Beeville, formerly of Baltimore, MD, died Saturday, May 7, 2011. Mr. Langohr was born Oct. 2, 1912, in Baltimore to Charles William and Marie A. (Nelk) Langohr. He married Marie L. Smith in Baltimore and was a retired auditor of 43 years for A&P Food Stores. He was a member of the Lutheran church and served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife in September 1986. Survivors include a son, Charles (Dawn) Langohr Jr. of Beeville; and two grandchildren, Michele L. Langohr of Tulsa, Okla. and Travis W. Adams of Hanover, Penn. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Hubbard Funeral Home in Baltimore, MD. The funeral service will be held there at 1 o'clock. Burial will follow in Western Cemetery in Baltimore. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Faith Lutheran Church in Beeville.
