Charlie Coley

Charlie Joe Coley, 62, of Beeville, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Mr. Coley was born Sept. 9, 1953, in Beeville to Regena (Mulinix) and Joe Coley Jr. He was a truck driver in the oil field, a Baptist by faith and enjoyed animals and doing leather work. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Coley Jr.; second wife, Betty Carabajal; third wife, Wendy Duhon Robinson; nephew, Cody Morgan and a great-nephew. Survivors include his mother, Regena Coley of Beeville; two sons, Casey J. Coley of Dallas and Charlie J. Coley Jr. of Berclair; a daughter, Regena A. Coley of Berclair; a brother, George Coley of Beeville; two sisters, Nora Racicot of Vermont and Martha Morgan of Beeville; longtime companion, Stormy Florin; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 10, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. The funeral service will be conducted there at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 11. Pallbearers will be Robert Doubrava Jr., Mark A. Cruz, Don Coburn, Robert Roy Coley, Arthur Smith, Juan Alcorta and Abel Carabajal Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Moreno Jr., A.J. Teel and Bill Lawson.
