Cheri Brand

Cheri Jo Brand, 52, passed away December 13, 2015. She was born on June 19, 1963, to Walter E. "Buck" and Delores Jean (Collier) Landry in Houston. She married Joseph Brand on May 8, 1993, in George West. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Brand of George West; four daughters, Sarah (Blake) Copeland of George West, Amanda (Anand) Venkatrao of Austin, Blake Brand of George West and Landry Brand of George West; two granddaughters, Madison and Mallorie Copeland of George West; sisters, Terri Bailey of Austin and Dawn (Greg) Pesek of Calallen; brother, Mark Landry of George West; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, at First United Methodist Church in George West with Rev. Patricia Newcomer officiating. Interment will follow at George West Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Hancock, Dickie Brown, Reid Holleman, Matthew Hancock, Andrew Hancock, Phillip Williamson, John Johnson and Tommy Wojtasczyk.
