Clarence Arthur Holt, 87, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018. He was born on Oct. 18, 1930, to Arthur and Hazel (Ireland) Holt in Leon, Kansas. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He married Edna Eliott on Feb. 13, 1985, in Boerne, Texas. He retired from Construction & Trucking Co. and owned Twin Coves Fishing Camp in Zapata, Texas.
Mr. Holt was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David Holt and Carson Holt; sister, Rosanna Green; and stepson, Donald Coquat, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Holt of Calliham, Texas; three stepsons, Dwain Coquat of Sandia, Texas, Greg Coquat of Tilden, Texas and Zane Coquat of Tennessee; a daughter, Gayle Schussler of Boerne, Texas; and numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018, with a funeral service at 2 p.m. that afternoon at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Three Rivers with Rev. Les Crawford officiating. Interment will follow at Calliham Cemetery.
