Clifford Brockman

Clifford Garland Brockman, 83, of Beeville, died Thursday, June 3, 2010. Mr. Brockman was born Dec. 21, 1926, in Canton to Clifford Cornelius Brockman and Dovie Etta Almond. He served in the U.S. Army and was retired from AMICO. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Jerry, Sonny and Johnny Brockman; and two sisters, Madia and Doris Brockman. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice "Teenie" (Overby) Brockman of Beeville; four daughters, Charlotte Brockman, Priscilla Lynn Brockman and Nancy Gail Mauney, all of Darien, Ga., and Janet Shrophire of Thomasville, Ga.; a son, Clifford "Bubba" Brockman of Statesboro, Ga.; five brothers, David Brockman of Levelland, Benny Brockman of Austin, Don Keith Brockman and Robert Lane Brockman of Abilene and William Leonard Brockman of Brady; two sisters, Catherine Sue Belcher of Abilene and Connie Scifflett of Milford; a stepson, Dennis Craig Overby, and a step-grandson, Michael Craig Overby, both of Beeville; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
