Constance Reynolds

Constance "Connie" Maurine Reynolds, 88, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018, in her home and surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 7, 1930, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Evelyn (Ross) and Ray Lindley. She married Harold Clifton Reynolds on July 28, 1951, in Denton, Texas, after graduating from North Texas State University with a degree in psychology. They moved to Beeville in 1975 when Harold became superintendent of schools. Connie receive her master's degree from Texas A & I University and became an educational diagnostician for Beeville ISD. Throughout the years, she was a member of the Art Guild, Do Nothing Club, Republican Women's Club, Wednesday Luncheon Club that meets on Thursday, the Home Arts Club, and also participated in the local prison ministry. Along with her love and commitment to her family, her primary desire was to share God's love. She wrote and published a survey of the Old Testament entitled A Journey of Promise, which she taught for many years. She touched numerous lives through her teaching of this Old Testament material, both here and abroad.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and sister.

She is survived by her husband, Harold C. Reynolds of Beeville; a son, Larry Reynolds of San Antonio; two daughters, Maurine (Ronnie) Adamek of Yoakum and Debbie (Curt) Wheeler of Arlington; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Della Storms of Louisiana.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on June 26, 2018, at First United Methodist Church of Beeville. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.
