Cordylee Bissett

Cordylee Margaret Bissett, 91, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Mrs. Bissett was born Jan. 20, 1920, to John T. and Flossie Myrtle Arthur Thompson in Bee County in Candlish Community. She married Clark Bissett on July 11, 1941, in Natchez, Miss. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Bee County Republican Women. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clark Bissett; and a brother, John George Thompson. Survivors include a daughter, Jean Bissett Fiegel of San Antonio; a grandson, George Bissett Fiegel of Wylie; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, May 27, at First Baptist Church. The funeral service was conducted there at 2 o'clock following visitation, with Rev. Greg Traylor officiating. Interment followed at Glenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, South Texas Children's Home or The Salvation Army. Galloway & Sons Funeral Home
