Cyril Denwood

Cyril B. Denwood, 88, of Beeville, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2012. Mr. Denwood was born Dec. 14, 1923, in Kirkland, England, to Johnathan and Annie Wilson Denwood. He married Margaret Jones in Camp Claiborne, La. on Oct. 6, 1945, and was retired from NAS Chase field and received a 50-year recognition from the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret J. (Jerry) Mihm of Houston; a son, Randolph L. Denwood of Beeville; two grandchildren, Randolph L. Denwood Jr. and Kassie Brasswell; and five great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 4, at 1 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Larry McRorey officiating. Galloway & Sons Funeral Home
