Davey Pete Migura, 64, of Orange Grove, Texas, beloved husband and best friend of Doris Ann Migura for 26 years, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 22, at 5:35 p.m. at the Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for, and loved the most.

Pete was born in Mathis, Texas to Daniel and Lillian Migura on November 7, 1949.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Allen Migura of Orange Grove, Texas.

He is survived by his son, Davey Pete Migura Jr.; and his wife, Brandi, and their children, Mason and Wyatt; his daughters, Lisa Godwin and her husband, Jack, and their children Sierra and Skylar; Gaitha Migura and her children, Randa and Reagan; step sons, David Rider and his wife, Vikki and their children, Shaunna and Joshua; Kenny Kegebein and his wife, Shannon and their children, Kaitlynn and Morgan; stepdaughters, Debbie Skidmore and husband, James and their children, Jamie and Cody; Chris Cavallin and her husband, Dale and their children, Doug, James, and Melisa; Robertta Perez and her husband, Albert and their daughter, Mandy; a brother, Joey Migura and his wife, Christi and their children, Keisha and Kyle; sister, Shirley Lambrette and husband, Gary and their children, Robert and Shirlene; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and friends who will all miss him and treasure their time that they have spent with him.

Pallbearers were Cody Skidmore, Wylee Clifton, Mike Hedrick, James Johnston, Harvey Raska, Chico Gonzalez, Jerry Rogers, and Jo Dale Rokhol. Honorary pallbearers were James LineBarger, Joe Flores, Deana Remmers, and Floyd Willace.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Galloway and Sons Chapel in George West, Texas. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at the Brush Country Cowboy Church also in George West, Texas at 10:00 a.m. Burial followed at St. John of The Cross Catholic Cemetery in Orange Grove, Texas. Following the burial in Orange Grove, a meal was provided for those who wished to extend their condolences to the family at the Brush Country Cowboy Church in George West, Texas.
