David Garcia

David Ray Garcia, 43, of Three Rivers, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018.
Mr. Garcia was born Jan. 23, 1975, to David L. and Lupita (Fernandez) Garcia in Jasper. He was a correctional officer for the John B. Connally Unit in Kenedy, and he was a Christian. He enjoyed taking care of roosters.
He was preceded in death by his father, David L. Garcia; and grandparents, Dolores and Elidio Garcia.

Survivors include his mother, Lupita Garcia; two children, Davann Rae and David Ray Garcia Jr.; two sisters, Gracie Garcia and Letty (Steve) Martinez; a brother, Luis Albert (Kristy) Garcia all of Three Rivers; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 15, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel in Three Rivers with prayer service held there that evening at 7 o'clock.
The funeral service will conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, at the Three Rivers Community Center with Pastor Andrew Amaro officiating. Interment will follow at the Three Rivers Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ramon Soliz, Jason Muniz, David Ray Garcia Jr., Travis Carroll, James Naylor, Mickey Davis, Jerry Roberts, Jacob Escamilla, Steve Martinez and Danny Fernandez.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Raimond Jr., Steve Martinez Jr., Syriz Martinez, Kyle Garcia and Kristopher Garcia.
