Dolores Springer

Dolores H. Springer, 85, went home to her Lord on June 14, 2016. Mrs. Springer was born on February 22, 1931, to Halgred (Beck) Hatcher and James Sid Hatcher in Beeville. She married Wendell Springer on May 27, 1951 and graduated from Texas A & I University 1952. She was a Baptist and worked in real estate. She was a past president of Farmers Branch Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sid and Halgred (Beck) Hatcher. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Wendell Springer of Mineral; two sons, Kenneth Springer of Mineral and Gary Springer of Chicago, Illinois; two grandsons, Ryan and Wendell; and three granddaughters, Elizabeth, Kiersten and Maegan. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm. on Monday, June 20, 2016, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Homer Hanna officiating. Interment will follow in Mineral Cemetery.
