Dominga Rodriguez

Dominga G. (Carbajal) Rodriguez, 79, of George West, died at her home Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017.

Mrs. Rodriguez was born Aug. 14, 1938, in Texas to Martin and Saragosa (Gomez) Carbajal. She married Marcelino Rodriguez and was of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Saragosa Carbajal; husband, Marcelino Rodriguez; brothers, Ambrosio, Martin, Manuel and Benny Carbajal; sisters, Goya Leal, Modesta Peralta, Victoria Soliz and Aurelia Pena; sons, David Carbajal, Erasmo Cuevas and Armando Moreno; and grandson, David Carbajal Jr.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Cuevas of George West and Norma (Delfino) Huerta of Waxahachie; a son, Jesus (Linda) Caravajal of Ennis; a daughter-in-law, Karen Scott Moreno of George West; grandchildren, Patricia, Robert, Jaime, Louis and April Carvajal, Rodrigo and Rosalinda Rodriguez, Robert A. Cuevas, Rhonda and Nina Carvajal, Ruben Moreno and Shiloh Scott Moreno; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel in George West.

The funeral service will be conducted there at 10 a.m. Saturday. Interment will follow in George West Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eric Lee Rodriguez, Rodrigo Rodriguez, Robert A. Cuevas, Randall Coronado, David Branbenbure and Ruben Moreno.
