Dorcas Guerrero

Dorcas Guerrero, 73, passed away on April 1, 2014. She was born on May 13, 1940 in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico to the late Higinio and Dolores Cortez Gutierrez. She is preceded in death by her parents, a son George Guerrero, and a son in law John M. Adkins, Sr. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her beloved husband Anestasio Guerrero of George West, Texas and two daughters, Estella Guerrero and Darla Guerrero. Dorcas is also survived by her four grandchildren Carolyn Fitzwater, John Adkins, Jr., Tabitha Adkins, Teresa Marroquin, and ten great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Galloway and Sons Chapel in George West from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 6:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Galloway and Sons Chapel in George West at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at George West Cemetery.
