Doris Kuhnert

Doris Mae (Wilkinson) Kuhnert, 89, of Beeville, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017.

Mrs. Kuhnert was born Aug. 23, 1927, in Waco to Ernest and Calle (Fincannon) Wilkinson. She married Paul Herman Kuhnert in George West on June 8, 1951, and was a school teacher for A.C. Jones High School for more than 40 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Garden Club, Book Club, Delta Kappa Gamma and was an active member in her Sunday school class.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband on July 10, 1989.

Survivors include a daughter, Paula Kuhnert (Henry Heffler) of Corpus Christi; a sister, Helen Sandercox of Arlington; a grandson, Tyler Heffler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to the weather, the funeral service that was to be held Saturday, Aug. 25, at First Baptist Church has been moved to a graveside service Friday, Sept. 1, at 2 p.m. at Beeville Memorial Park.

Service
