Dorothy Gilmore

Dorothy Faye Gilmore, 83, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Mrs. Gilmore was born July 17, 1930, in Mineral to Perrin Bruce and Myra (Harris) Williamson. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fredie Gilmore; sons, Mike and Fred Quimby; her parents; and a sister, Mildred Bruce Stokley. Survivors include her children, Stephany Liller of Maryland and Steven (Sherry) Gilmore of Corpus Christi; grandchildren, Dawn Strealy, Kristie Clark and Matthew Quimby; three great-grandchildren, Emily Strealy, Gabi Strealy, and LeeAnn Clark Viehouser; and sisters, Nancy Hoffmeyer, Billie Marie Gunderman and Myra L. Walters. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at Mineral Cemetery. A graveside service will follow at 11 o'clock.
