Edolio "Lolo" Deleon Villarreal Jr., 59, of Beeville, died Friday, Aug. 30, 2013. Mr. Villarreal was born March 12, 1954, in Beeville, to Lydia Deleon and Edolio Villarreal Sr. He was a retired electrician and a Catholic. He enjoyed fishing, barbecue and helping people. He was preceded in death by his father, Edolio Villarreal Sr.; his mother, Lydia Deleon Estrada; step-dad, Ernesto Estrada; and a brother, Manuel Villarreal. Survivors include the mother of his children, Mary Jane Meza of Beeville; five children, Jerome Lee (Brenda) Villarreal and Joshua Isaiah Villarreal, both of Alabama, Laurie (Richard Cantu) Garcia of Beeville, Marivel (Gene) Morales of Japan and Edolio Villarreal III of Missouri; four brothers, David Villarreal and Jamie Villarreal, both of Beeville, Eloy (Jennifer) Estrada of Florida and Xavier (Tammy) Estrada of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Cynthia Hernandez of Bay City and Nora Tanguma of Beeville; eight grandchildren, Jerome, Jarod, Christopher, Halie, Erin, Ayrinna, Janelle and Isaiah; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Thursday, Sept. 5, from noon to 9 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. A rosary was recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral service was conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Balaswamy Pasala officiating. Pallbearers were Jerome Lee Villarreal, Edolio Villarreal III, Joshua Isaiah Villarreal, Jerome Lee Villarreal Jr., Christopher Villarreal, Jarod Garcia, Richard Cantu and Joe Louis Tanguma.
