Elmer Wade McCollough, 96, passed away on September 7, 2015. He was born on December 26, 1918 in Orange, Texas to James and Dora (Herman) McCollough. He married Mary Ann Franze on September 11, 1948 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was reared and baptized a Baptist. He joined Lutheran as adult in 1958. He was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps from July 1941 to December 1945. He retired 1981 from Celanese Chemical Company in Bishop. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife. He is survived by his son, Harold W. (Nancy) McCollough of Three Rivers, Texas; daughter, Janet Gail McCollough (Wayne) Pasco of Cardiff, California; grandchildren, Kyle Murphy of Cardiff, California and Dixie McCollough of Salado, Texas. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Galloway & Sons Chapel in Three Rivers, Texas with a prayer service beginning at 5:30 p.m. that evening. Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Three Rivers. Interment will follow at Three Rivers Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Franze, Rockey Teague, Tommy Atkinson, Ramon Soliz, Ed Bomba, and Ruben Gutierrez. Honorary pallbearers will be Edward Quintanilla, Harold Yaklin, Jim Pierce, Charlie Johnston, Willard Gibbons, Severne Smith, and Keith Franze.
