Elnora Erler

Elnora Erler, 80, died on January 21, 2014. She was born September 3, 1933 to Louis and Elsie (Rosebrock) Buehring, Sr. in Karnes City, TX. She married Allen Charles Erler on February 1, 1957 in Karnes City, TX. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Faith Lutheran Church Choir, and Faith Lutheran Church Women. Elnora retired as an office manager for the Spohn Hospital in Beeville. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Louis, Jr., Harold, Hugo, Marvin, Leo, Edgar, Hilbert, Eldor, Henry, Werner, Albert, and Elmor Buehring; sister, Lula Mae Wolff, and one infant brother. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Carruthers and her husband Rob of Austin, TX; one sister, Mary Ann Steudemen of Washington State; two brothers, Monroe Buehring and wife Alice of Washington State, Norm Buehring and wife Carol of Mississippi; two grandchildren, Allison and Jonathan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Faith Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Waldheim Cemetery in Tynan, TX. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church or Alzheimers Association.
