Eloisa Mendoza

Eloisa (Gomez) Mendoza, 91, of Beeville, passed Saturday, March 14, 2015. Mrs. Mendoza was born Aug. 17, 1923, in Berclair to Andrea (Garza) and Higinio P. Gomez. She married Carlos Mendoza in Bee County on July 5, 1967. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and known in the community as an Avon representative for over 25 years. She loved God, family, plants and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one daughter, Elida Mendez Salinas. Survivors include a daughter, Mandy Mendoza (John) Palmer of Houston; granddaughters, Sandra Salinas, Falyn Rincon and Stephanie Salinas Valdez; and a grandson, Patrick Rincon. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. A Rosary will be recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 19, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Beeville Memorial Park.
