Emil O. "Jack" Bohac, 87, of Skidmore, died Sunday, May 19, 2013. Mr. Bohac was born July 14, 1925, in Skidmore to Joe F. and Thelma Jane (Fullen) Bohac. He married Maudie Lee Fox in Beeville on March 19, 1949, and served in the U.S. Navy. He was retired from Halliburton and was an active member of First Baptist Church in Skidmore, where he served as deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe F. and Thelma Bohac; and a brother, Willie B. Bohac. Survivors include his wife, Maudie Lee Bohac of Skidmore; two children, Robyn (Carl F. Jr.) White of Skidmore and Wayne (Ruthie) Bohac of Beeville; two grandchildren; Ty White and J.D. White; two step-grandchildren, John Cuevas and Charlie Monroe; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Bohac of Lockhart; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted there at 10 o'clock Thursday morning, May 23, with Brother Lee Bevly officiating. Burial will follow in Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ty White, J.D. White, Joseph Chavarria, Larry Bohac, John Thomas, Darrell Fox and Jimmy Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be John Box, John Cuevas, Wayne Bohac and Chance Schirmer and Willard Joe Fox.
