The soul of Ester Dolores Carraher, 80, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on August 17, 2013, after a valiantly fought battle with Multiple Myeloma. Dolores was an active member of the Alter Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Bee County Republican Club, both in Beeville, and spent untold hours crocheting scarves and hats for the homeless, the military, and new born babies. She was also a volunteer for Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville. Dolores lived life to the fullest as she and her husband Bill, traversed the country in their RV. Her outgoing and fun personality allowed her to make friends throughout the United States on these sojourns. She is survived by William Carraher, of Beeville, TX, her husband of almost 24 years, as well as four children and their spouses, Michael and Gail Agor, of Orlando, FL, Terry and Craig Billman, of Beeville, TX, Laurie and Buck Davies, and Marcy and Tim Williams, all of whom reside in Chesapeake, VA, and a step-daughter Leigh Lucero and her spouse Tony, of Suffolk, VA. Dolores has six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited that same evening at 7 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday morning August 23, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Galloway and Sons Chapel with Deacon Luis Trevino presiding. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Beeville.
