Eva Shepherd

Eva Madeline Shepherd, 92, went home to her Lord on December 2, 2015. She was born on April 17, 1923, to William Claudie and Eva Mae Moore in Sodville. She married Douglas Roland Shepherd on January 20, 1945, in Beeville. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Skidmore and Cowboy Fellowship of San Patricio County. She had worked for First National Bank and Ferguson 5 & 10. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and grandson, Stephen Peters. She is survived by her children, Joan (Harold) Niemann of Woodsboro, Shirley (Gene) Peters of Beeville, Janice (Michael) O'Quinn of Richmond, Jane Shepherd of Corpus Christi, and Roland (Tabitha) Shepherd of Sinton; 12 grandchildren, Colton (Barbara) Niemann, Dawn (Brian) Killough, Michael (Kim) Peters, Sheri Shaw, Shelley (John) De Leon, Kerri (Paul) Rotsch, Susan Granberry, Patrick O'Quinn, Regina O'Quinn, Jodee (Rusty) Austin, Justan (Celinda) Orrell and Cody Shepherd; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Claudell (Paul) Newman of Springfield, Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Colton Niemann, Patrick O'Quinn, Michael Peters, Justan Orrell, Cody Shepherd, and Ronnie Olivarez. Honorary pallbearers will be Cleve Granberry, and Kenneth Orrell.
