Evelyn Williams

Evelyn "Beebe" Williams, 85, passed away surrounded by family on December 6, 2014. She was born to Everette Lee and Lillie Layfayette Machen in Charlotte, Texas on July 28, 1929. Beebe was one of a kind, and was so very loved by her family. She raised 5 children which led to the loving family that we are today. She will be missed by all that knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Roland Bridges; siblings James Douglass "Doug" Machen, Grady Lynn Machen, and Patsy Lucille Sinor. Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Mike Bridges and Carolyn of Victoria, Texas, Patsy Pennington of Cuero, Wanda "Punkin" Meyer and her husband, Clinton of Mount Vernon, Texas, and Claude Bridges and wife, Barbi of Victoria, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Sue Reed and husband, Billy Jack of Marble Falls; her beloved pet, "Bear"; and numerous nieces and nephews. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away. Revelations 21:4 We will miss you, MOM. Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Three Rivers, Texas. Funeral services began at 1 p.m. that same afternoon with interment following at the Three Rivers Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Lance Bridges, Matt Bridges, Garrett Pennington, Brad Meyer, Craig Meyer, Cody Dailey, Jay Klahr, David Beadle, and Chuck Perry.
