Foxie Lee Moya, 65, a beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home in Three Rivers, Texas, on September 27, 2024.
Foxie was born June 12, 1959, in Three Rivers to Mario Moya Sr. and Dora (Sotelo) Moya. He was a 1978 graduate of Three Rivers High School and married Elda Lee Diaz on July 19, 1980, in Karnes County. He was an active member of Faith Family Life Church. Foxie was a man known for his dedication and commitment to his career as an electrician, a field in which he excelled and took great pride. He loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed listening to music, barbecuing and loved to go to the maquinitas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mario Moya Sr. and Dora S. Moya.
Left behind to cherish fond memories include his loving wife of 44 years, Elda Lee (Diaz) Moya; a son, Rosendo Moya; a daughter, Roxanne Moya; a brother, Mario Moya Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews; three grandchildren, Danielle Moya, Nathaniel Moya and Branden Moya; and two great-grandchildren, Andre Casas and Armani DeLeon.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Three Rivers followed by a prayer service at 7 o’clock with Pastor Debra Cantu officiating.
The funeral service will be conducted there at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, with Pastor George Ruiz officiating.
