Frances Gonzales

Frances "Panchita" Ybanez Gonzales, 91, went home to her Lord on January 17, 2018. Mrs. Gonzales was born on February 27, 1926, to Inez (Pena) and Pablo Perez Ybanez in Oakville, Texas. She married Raul T. Gonzales on November 20, 1949, in George West, Texas. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She retired from Morrison & Company after 32 years of service.

She was preceded in by her parents; husband; and numerous brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Carolina Ruiz of George West; one son, Raul Gonzales, Jr. of San Antonio; two granddaughters, Rebecca Renee (Joseph) Valadez of Houston and Lisa Gonzales of San Antonio; one grandson, Rudy Raul Gonzales of San Antonio; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Elodia Leal of George West and Emma (Andres) Garza of Arlington; and one brother, John P. Ybanez of San Antonio.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018, at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West with a Rosary recited that evening at 7 p.m. at St. George Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at St. George Catholic Church with Father George Johnson officiating.
Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.
