Frances G. Lazarine, 87, went home to her Lord on December 19, 2015. She was born on September 17, 1928, to Pablo and Sulema (Garza) Garza in Beeville. She married Joe Henry Lazarine on July 6, 1947, in Beeville. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph Altar Society and Vigil Society, was named St. Joseph Mardi Gras Queen in 1993 and named Parishioner of the Year 2006, for her unselfish devotion to St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She made all bibs for all the baptismals at St. Joseph Catholic Church for 40 years. She was also a member of Beeville Art Guild, Aggie Mom's Club, 4H leader and was Den Mother for the Boys Scouts. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Joe Henry Lazarine of Beeville; daughters, Angela (Carlos) Vera of Beeville; Jo Ann (Ben) Wathen of Las Vegas; son, John H. (Kathy) Lazarine of Houston; and youngest daughter, Kathy (Hector) Garcia of Beeville; nine grandchildren, Tim R. Alaniz, Jennifer L. Rivera, Joshua Wathen, April A. Cantu, Andrew J. Wathen, Melissa L. Guerrero, Klaire K. DeLeon, Kamryn A. Garcia, and Katie S. Lazarine; and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary recited there that evening at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Richard Gonzales officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim R. Alaniz, Joshua Wathen, Andrew J. Wathen, Josh Wathen, R. J. Cantu, and Lee Brown.
