Frances Priour

Frances Louise (Mareth) Priour, 83, of Skidmore, died Thursday, June 9, 2011. Mrs. Priour was born Oct. 10, 1927, in Yorktown to Annie (Bare) and Frank Joseph Mareth. She married George T. Priour in Sinton in 1950, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery and word search puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband in April 1978. Survivors include two daughters, Florence "Toots" Priour of Skidmore and Linda McCumber of Beeville; a brother, Clarence "Pete" (Marilyn) Mareth of Adkins; and one grandson, Bobby Priour of Corpus Christi. A graveside visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore. The funeral service will begin there at 10 o'clock with Chaplain Robert Styers officiating.
