Francisco "Frank" Garcia

Francisco "Frank" Chapa Garcia, 75, of Tuleta, Texas passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, in a local nursing home.

Frank was born March 15, 1949, in Pettus to Adan Garcia and Leonora (Chapa) Garcia. He married the love of his life, Eladia Arrisola, in Beeville on July 4, 1970. He was a driller in the oilfield industry. Favorite pastimes included hunting, fishing, barbecuing and spending time with his family. He absolutely adored his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adan and Leonora Garcia; his wife, Eladia Garcia in 2017; and two brothers, Henry Garcia and Fabian Garcia.

Left behind to cherish fond memories include his daughter, Melinda Hudson of Beeville; four grandchildren, Melesia Hudson of Temple, Marcus Hudson of Leander, Clyde M. Hudson III of Beeville and Robert Hudson of Calallen; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Leonor Garcia and Mary Lou Garcia.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, December 15, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville.

The funeral service will be conducted there at 10 a.m. Monday, December 16, with Pastor Jesse Berthold officiating. Burial will follow in the Mineral Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Hudson, Clyde Hudson, Bill Lopez, Jimmy Montez, Xavier Arrisola and Oscar Arrisola.
