Frank Lee Belcher, 62, of Beeville died Wednesday, May 19, 2010. Mr. Belcher was born Feb. 27, 1948, in Dallas to Jack S. Belcher and Bernice K. Keller. He married Kathryn Orrell on Nov. 7, 1998, and was a safety officer for TDCJ. Mr. Belcher was a retired lieutenant commander for the Navy. He was a flight instructor and trained new pilots at NAS Chase Field until his retirement in 1992. He flew S-3s, T-2s and A-4s. Mr. Belcher was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Bernice Belcher; and a grandson, Clint Mitchell Burchfield. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Belcher of Beeville; three daughters, Linda (Lawrence) Adamick of Huntsville, Terri (Mickey) Carroll of Wichita Falls, and Krystal (Benjamin) Gamel of Papalote; a son, Cody Belcher-Orrell of Beeville; five grandchildren, Khelsey Corrigan, Justin "J.T." Burchfield, Trevor "Hoss" Burchfield, Ryan Carroll and Ty Gamel; a sister, Jackie (Dusty) Dehnhardt of Sallisaw, Okla.; and in-laws, Kenneth Sr. and Sara Orrell. A funeral service was held at 4 p.m. Monday at Galloway & Sons Funeral chapel with the Rev. Bill Duke officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Brian Dehnhardt, Derrick Dehnhardt, Justan Orrell, Craig Orrell Jr. Colton Tindol, Ryan Morin, Travis Almeida, Rob Elizalde and Marcus Rosales.
